We always recommend vanilla for weddings because it is such a "please-all" scent that it is incredibly rare to find anybody who doesn't like it! Champagne is always a popular choice, and the designer types are perfect anytime of year! Or, how about choosing the fragrance according to the season? For example Freesia, Apples 'n' Berries, Plumeria, Honeysuckle and Lilac are lovely spring fragrances. In the summer you can go a little bit more wild with fruity scents like Strawberry, Mango, Peach, Pink Grapefruit and Summer Sorbet. If you are getting married in the Autumn & Winter then spicy fragrances like Cinnaberry, Hot Apple Pie, Old Fashioned Christmas and Vanilla Spice will add a warming seasonal touch to your big day. Colour Choices! You will find a drop down list of colours on the website, but this list is by no means exhaustive! We make ALL of our candles by hand on the premises, so we can make your candles in YOUR choice of colours to match in with your wedding! If you have a very specific shade in mind, then you can always post us a swatch of fabric or a B&Q paint card in the closest colour! You can use the comments box in the shopping cart to give us any detail - or you can always get in touch after placing your order and we can have a chat about the perfect colour. Fragrance Strength Guide Our scented candles are VERY strong and may be too overpowering in an small-medium sized venue. If the candles are to be burned during the reception we recommend a QUARTER STRENGTH fragrance. This will give a nice aroma to the room without overpowering the fragrance from any flowers and won't be off-putting if people are eating! If your venue is a large size or has high ceilings then you can use a stronger scent. The fragrance strength depends on personal preference, the size of the venue and the number of candles that will be burning! We're here to help and happy to offer any advice! |
